Xiaomi unveils Mi8
The highly anticipated Chinese flagship boasts a Snapdragon 845 CPU and a 6.21-inch FHD+ screen.
The renowned Chinese phone maker Xiaomi has formalized his new top-range, codename Mi 8. Long-awaited and long rumored, Mi 8 boasts very interesting specifications, such as the screen: a S-AMOLED 6.21 inch with 2.248 x1.080 pixel of resolution (FHD+) and a body/screen ratio of 88.5%.
Aesthetically simple but with elegant and refined design, Xiaomi Mi 8 is powered by a 3.400mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4+ standard. Under the hood there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 cpu combined with 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.
Among the hot-features stands out the photographic department, which provides a dual rear camera with Sony 12-megapixel sensors, 4-axis optical stabilizer and dual-pixel autofocus. Even the selfie camera is well equipped: 20-megapixel sensor, f/2 lens and AI Beauty artificial intelligence for image optimization.
Other noteworthy specifications include the infrared face recognition unlock system, the support for 4G VoLTE networks, NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. The device runs Google Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 interface. Available in four colora variants: Black, Blue, White and Gold. Prices on the main international markets starting from 2,699 yuan, at today’s exchange rate around 350 euros.
