Sony unveils Xperia XZ2 Premium
Armed to the teeth, the new Japanese top-range boasts 6GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU.
The highly anticipated Sony XZ2 Premium is official and will be soon available on the main international markets. Characterized by the same Ambient Flow design inaugurated with the Sony Xperia XZ2 and Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact models, the Premium version is IP68 certified to withstand dust, water and humidity, measures 150x80x11.9mm and weighs 236 grams.
It’s equipped with a Triluminos HDR 5.8-inch display that features 2.160x.3840 pixel of resolution, 16: 9 format and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Under the hood a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable to 400GB via MicroSD. The phablet is powered by a 3.540mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless Charging.
Coming to the camera department, Sony Xperia XZ 2 Premium provides a dual rear camera with 19-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors, capable of taking pictures up to 51,200 ISO and video up to 12,800 ISO. A 13-megapixel selfie-camera is available. In all cases there is a 5-axis stabilization system. Other features: Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB-C, Dual-SIM support, stereo speakers and GPS.
