Motorola unveils Edge-S: six cameras and Snapdragon 870 at very low price
The Chinese company is ready to lunch new mid-level smartphone with hi-end features
Unveild during an event in China, the new Edge-S offers hi-end features packed in a very elegant and compact device. Edge-S is based on the new Snapdragon 870 octa-core cpu. Despite his name, the new Motorola’s device has a FHD+ 6.7-inch LCD flat screen with 2520×1080 pixel of resolution, 409 ppi and 21:9 aspect ratio. According the chinese company, Edge-S obtained higher score than Xiaomi Mi 10 on the benchmark platform AnTuTu, 680.826 points versus 585.232 points.
Under the hood, Edge-S features six cameras, four on the back, 5.000mAh battery at 20W, 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB for storage. Among other features: Android 11, Dual-SIM slot (2x nano), USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-frequency GPS. Regarding photo compartment, Motorola Edge-S features 64MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, LED flash, 16MP 121° ultra-wide angle lens with PDAF, 2.8cm macro, 2MP depth sensor, ToF sensor, audio zoom, 16MP front-facing camera, 8MP 100° ultra-wide camera.
